Building a mission management platform for law enforcement agencies, where dispatchers create, assign, and track field missions from geolocated incidents on a live map. The work runs the full stack — Java and Spring on the back, Angular on the front, real-time drone telemetry and notifications over Pub/Sub and WebSockets, a watchlist service matching incoming detections against registered assets, and a cross-agency sharing model that keeps each customer's data isolated by default. I also own the path to production: pipelines, Kubernetes manifests, and the Azure infrastructure underneath.

Architected and led an end-to-end smart city management platform built in Java, Spring, React, and Next.js, used by city halls for real-time monitoring of incidents, crimes, traffic patterns, and emergency alerts across metropolitan areas. Along the way I tuned the platform for high availability with server-side caching, moved vehicle passage alerts to real-time WebSocket messaging, automated the work order flow for field technicians, and built the integration service with Waze Partner Hub and Waze for Cities.

Led the gradual migration of a legacy monolith — Java, JAX-RS, AngularJS, Wildfly — into microservices with Java, Spring, Kafka, React, and Next.js. I also re-engineered the file import service and built the integrations that kept embedded field devices, partner systems, and government bodies exchanging data with the platform over REST, SOAP, and FTP.

Monitored and maintained remote embedded Linux systems and the internal central services behind them, and wrote Python and Shell automation to take over the repetitive parts of the job. I built small internal tools end to end so R&D could stay on the core product. I entered through the CIEE/RS apprentice program, taught myself Python, Java, and JavaScript here, and moved into the development team from this desk.
